Announcement
The Linden Cemetery Association would like to announce that long time LCA Board Member and President, James Penny, has submitted his retirement letter effective June 1, 2024. Mr. Penny has worked tirelessly on the improvement of the cemetery and the Association. We thank him for his 12 years of service and dedication to the Linden Cemetery Association. Jason Mitchell will be the interim President until the next scheduled board meeting in August.
Meetings of the Linden Cemetery Association
The next Linden Cemetery Association meeting will be held on:
Monday, November 4th, 2024 at 6:00 PM in the Linden Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
In our efforts to clean up the cemetery we will remove items such as old flowers, items that may cause harm to our groundskeepers and visitors, plus other items not allowed as embellishments. The list may be found in our rules and regulations document. We need to take these actions to keep the cemetery beautiful and to prevent injuries. Meetings take place on the first Monday of the months of February, May, August, and November, with the November meeting serving as the annual membership meeting. The association’s president may hold special meetings with notice given in accordance with the bylaws of the association.
Meetings are held in the Fellowship Hall of the Linden Methodist Church located at 400 E Rush St. in Linden unless otherwise specified by the president of the association.
